Raptors Come Back Late to Clip Escape

Hell Stadium was the site for Darryl Kile League action featuring the Scranton Escape and Omaha Raptors.
The Omaha Raptors defeated the Scranton Escape, 7-3, in Darryl Kile League action at Hell Stadium, with Omaha pitcher Mitsuzuka Nakano named player of the game. Esteban Torres got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings.
The Raptors got a big at-bat from designated hitter Mario Encarnación. For the game, Encarnación was 1 for 4. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the ninth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 14th hit of the season gave Omaha a 4-3 lead.
Encarnación told a Omaha Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
The Raptors bumped their record to 39-38 with this latest triumph.
