The Indian Wells Aeropostales beat the Bronx Bombers, 10-3, at Stars Field. The Aeropostales got a fine performance from first baseman Frank Lewis, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI. Yeijiro Ishihara got credit for the win, improving to 2-4. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. The Aeropostales bumped their record to 41-37 with this latest triumph.

Johnny Dominguez's at-bat in the bottom of the fourth inning was a big one for Indian Wells. Coming to bat with two out, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Indian Wells trailing 3-2, the catcher reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run.

Dominguez told a Indian Wells Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
