Canton center fielder Carl Questi played a vital role in his team's 9-4 triumph over Antioch. He was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Canton. Canton reliever Nobuatsu Samurakami was credited with the win, to go to 3-1. Matsuyo Koda took the loss for Antioch. The Paczkis bumped their record to 39-36 with this latest triumph.

Josh Dronfield went 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Canton. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Matsuyo Koda. It was his 8th RBI of the season.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Questi said.
