The Bowling Green Racers defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 9-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Top of the Hill, with Bowling Green pitcher Larry Allen named player of the game. Bowling Green reliever Larry Allen was credited with the win, to go to 9-3. Jorge Olivo took the loss for Minneapolis. The Freeze, at 44-31, have lost 4 straight games.

Hideaki Fujita aided the Bowling Green cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4.
