|
The Eureka Hornets relied on the hitting of shortstop Roberto Santiso to stop the Vancouver Pioneers, 10-6. For the game, Santiso went 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 4 times. The save was credited to Elliott Rogers, his 3rd. The Pioneers fall to 12-13 and continue their wobbly start to the 2033 season.
Edmund McDonald aided the Eureka cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Santiso told the Eureka Gazette.
