Banditos Continue Skid Thanks to Kamada, Paczkis
|
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Canton fans at Mckinley Park.
The Canton Paczkis knocked off the Acapulco Banditos, 13-8, at Mckinley Park. Noboru Kamada, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Canton won. The third baseman was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. The Banditos, now 32-41, have lost 4 in a row.
Canton second baseman Akio Hara delivered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 3 runs and batted in 2.
In postgame comments to the Canton Times, Kamada said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
