In a low-scoring tilt between the Mile High Mustangs and the Maple Marauders, Ross Allan was the difference-maker. The Mile High right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 win. Allan, now 3-1, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 7, walking 5, and allowing 2 earned runs. Losses have been few and far between for the Marauders so far this season. Their record drops to 19-5.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from right fielder José Rea. For the game, Rea went 1-4 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Mile High a 1-0 lead.
Allan called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
