Cats Bang Out 8-3 Win Versus Silver Lake
The Fort Worth Cats topped the Silver Lake Baristas, 8-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at LaGrave Field. The player of the game was Fort Worth first baseman Hirokichi Fujimoto. Fort Worth reliever Juan Carlos Baraja picked up the win, upping his record to 1-2. Douggie Pitchford shouldered the loss. The 5th-place Cats raised their record to 28-41.

The Cats got a big at-bat from catcher Roger Washington. For the game, Washington was 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 46th hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 2-0 lead.
