Left-hander Larry Allen mesmerized the Acapulco Banditos while leading the Bowling Green Racers to a 6-0 victory. Bowling Green is now 39-30, Acapulco 31-35.
José Morín aided the Bowling Green cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Morín told the Bowling Green Chronicle. "You win just by scoring more runs."
