Freeze Get Road Win, 4-2
|
The Minneapolis Freeze got a strong performance from pitcher Kyoji Rin, who stymied the Reno offense en route to a 4-2 win at House of Pain. The first-place Freeze have won 5 in a row.
The Freeze got a big at-bat from catcher Reece Wager. For the game, Wager was 2 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Minneapolis a 2-0 lead.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Rin said.
