Racers Win at Acapulco, 5-3
|
The Bowling Green Racers topped the Acapulco Banditos, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Underdogs Ballpark. The player of the game was Bowling Green pitcher Harlan Rudy. With the win, Bowling Green goes to 38-29, while the Banditos fall to 30-34.
The Racers got a big at-bat from left fielder Sam Lynch. For the game, Lynch was 1 for 3 with a triple and was hit by a pitch. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Bowling Green a 2-1 lead.
