Olivo Dazzles in Minneapolis Win
|
The first-place Minneapolis Freeze picked up another win at The Ice Box.
Jorge Olivo never let the Raptors get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Freeze to a 5-1 win. Minneapolis goes to 39-24. The win puts them 6 games up in their division.
In his 107-pitch effort, Olivo allowed 1 earned run on 3 hits over 8 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 9.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Minneapolis manager John Justin.
