The Albuquerque Cacti got a superb performance from left fielder Omar McKoy, but the Canton Paczkis still won the game, 6-5. McKoy was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 1-1 with a double and 4 walks. Albuquerque has now lost 4 in a row.

Luis Alaniz was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Canton. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Juan Vazquez. It was his 4th RBI of the season.
