Detroit Death Stars starter Dave Munier was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Reno Raiders, 4-3. The Death Stars, now at 32-30, know that wins in June count the same as wins in September.

Marty Sella was 1 for 2 with a walk for Detroit. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Théophile Richard. It was his 2nd walk of the season.

"Dave is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Detroit manager David Parker.
