The Pasadena Bumblebees and Joplin Fireballs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at The Hole.

The Joplin Fireballs bested the Pasadena Bumblebees by a score of 11-3, with shortstop Sachi Watanabe getting the main credit. On the day, Watanabe went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Fireballs. Dave Conboy picked up the win with 6 innings of work.
