|
Silver Lake Baristas starter Vincent Bethea pitched a strong game against the Chicago Titans at Ashton Gate, leading the Baristas to a 3-2 win. The winner was Silver Lake reliever Bhanuratha Vaithu, now 3-1. The loser was Jorge Ramírez. Chicago now has a 5-game losing streak.
Brady Warren hit a run-scoring triple off Nobuharu Fujita in the bottom of the ninth, which put the Baristas in front, 3-2. Warren had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Bethea.
