Multi-HR Game for Hide in 8-3 Win
|
The Reno Raiders topped the Detroit Death Stars, 8-3, with left fielder Charlie Hide playing a big role. Hide was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Raiders in the win. Reno now has a 3-game win streak.
Ramón Dolit aided the Reno cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Hide said.
