The Scranton Escape topped the Bowling Green Racers, 4-1, with first baseman Il-hwan Kim playing a big role. Kim was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Escape in the win. Máximo Larreta converted his 5th save in 7 tries. Scranton has now won 3 in a row.

Kim contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Scranton in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Kim took a fastball from Harlan Rudy and stroked the home run to left. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Escape to leap in front, 4-1.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Kim told a Scranton Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
