Reno left fielder Vicente Maldanoda was instrumental in his team's 9-6 win over the Omaha Raptors. Maldanoda, who is tied for 2nd in the DKL in stolen bases with 32, went 4-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Raiders. Li-zhu Kuang, credited with the save, is now 14 for 17 in save opportunities. The Raiders bumped their record to 32-28 with this latest triumph.

Matsudaira Sato aided the Reno cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter was 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Maldanoda.
