Fairfield pinch hitter Jorge Ramírez was instrumental in his team's 10-7 win over the Chicago Titans. Ramírez went 1-1 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Flash. Benjamin Stevenson, credited with the save, is now 19 for 21 in save opportunities. Fairfield goes to 43-17. The win puts them 10 games up in their division.

The Flash got a big at-bat from designated hitter Susumu Kono. For the game, Kono went 2 for 6 with a double. In the top of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 79th hit of the season gave Fairfield a 5-4 lead.

"We got the victory," said Ramírez. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
