The Bronx Bombers reigned over the Billings Mustangs in damp conditions at Bronx Ballpark.

Bronx beat Billings on the strength of starter Jerry Hughes's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. Hughes picked up the win for Bronx, going 8 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1.

Tomokazu Nakata, who was drafted in the two round of the 2029 draft, aided the Bronx cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder was 1-5.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Nakata told the Bronx Citizen.
