Andrade Goes Wild, But Freeze Win
The Joplin Fireballs got a superb performance from first baseman Ernesto Andrade, but the Minneapolis Freeze still won the game, 8-7. Andrade was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win was credited to Scott Ray in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Seung-jin Hwang took the loss. Minneapolis is now 34-22, 4 games up in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division.
