Questi Helps Canton Cruise to 11-1 Win
The Canton Paczkis beat the Vancouver Canadians, 11-1, at Stanley Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of center fielder Carl Questi, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Goro Ota, who threw 101 pitches over 5.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 1 run on 6 hits. Canton is now 28-27, Vancouver 31-25.

Questi had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Paczkis went on to win.

Questi told a Canton Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
