Mustangs Get Close Win Over Kodiaks
The Billings Mustangs grabbed a 8-4 win over the Calgary Kodiaks at Cobb Field. Billings designated hitter Carlos Hernández was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 to earn player of the game honors. Billings reliever Mickael Raymond picked up the win to move to 2-1. Marcus Clifton suffered the loss. The Mustangs bumped their record to 30-25 with this latest triumph.

Hernández went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 against the Kodiaks. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that scored 1 and put Billings in front, 5-4.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hernández said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
