Warren Raps Scranton for 5 Hits
|
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Silver Lake's Brady Warren made it happen today against the Escape. Everything came together at the plate for the 27-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Baristas to a 12-9 win at Hell Stadium.
"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Warren said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."
Brady Warren hit an RBI single in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Warren is hitting .265 this year with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .390, 19 walks and scored 16 times.
