Argonauts Clip Mustangs in Tight Contest
The Astoria Argonauts beat the Billings Mustangs, 8-6, at Golden Fleece Park. Astoria right fielder Misao Fujii earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 1 for 1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The second-place Mustangs have dropped 4 straight games.

Fujii had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 slider from John Otten, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Argonauts a 8-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Fujii.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Fujii said.
