Heida Goes Off, But Bumblebees Win
LaGrave Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Pasadena Bumblebees and the Fort Worth Cats.

Fort Worth got a terrific performance from center fielder Shumei Heida, but it wasn't enough to beat the Pasadena Bumblebees. Pasadena won the LaGrave Field contest, 8-7. Heida was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. After today's action, Pasadena sits at 22-27, while Fort Worth falls to 21-31.

Jasper Francis aided the Pasadena cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the eighth. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Francis.
