In a high-scoring contest between Minneapolis and Scranton, designated hitter Jim Bungay was a difference-maker. Bungay earned player of the game honors in the 12-10 Minneapolis win. He was 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times. Mitsuharu Nakashima picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-3. Le-song Kao was tagged with the loss. Earning his 3rd save of the year was Pedro García.
