Victory Pushes Texans Record to 12-10
|
Benefiting from Rodrigo Quiñones's productive game, the Dallas Texans downed the New York Mafia, 10-6. Quiñones went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Texans. Dallas reliever Richard Lawson picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Lorenzo Soto was collared with the loss. The Mafia fall to 7-16 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.
Tsunayoshi Ito, who is rated as the 99th best prospect by BNN, aided the Dallas cause with a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the center fielder went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Quiñones said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
