Victory Pushes Aeropostales Record to 29-22
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Billings Mustangs, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells pitcher Ron Robinson. Kevin Spurr finished to wrap up his 11th save. Indian Wells now sits at 29-22, while Billings falls to 29-19.
The Aeropostales got a big at-bat from second baseman Bernardo Rodríguez. For the game, Rodríguez went 3 for 5 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 66th hit of the season gave Indian Wells a 4-3 lead.
