The Fairfield Flash topped the Minneapolis Freeze, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at The Ice Box. The player of the game was Fairfield pitcher and Canada native Gabriel Bernard. Fairfield has an impressive 33-15 record.

The Flash got a big at-bat from first baseman Ernie Horswill. For the game, Horswill went 2-5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the tenth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 7th double of the season gave Fairfield a 5-3 lead.
