Raptors Get Close Win Over Titans
|
The Omaha Raptors got a strong performance from pitcher Fred Argueta, who stymied the Chicago offense en route to a 3-1 win at Anchorage Municipal Stadium. Omaha is in 4th place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 20-25.
Tom Bailey was the walk-off hero for Omaha. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Raptors first baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Argueta said after the game.
