Flash Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fairfield catcher Jorge Escobedo was instrumental in his team's 6-5 win over the Minneapolis Freeze. Escobedo went 3-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Flash. The Flash have an impressive 32-15 record.

Late-game drama came in the top of the 12th inning. With one out and a runner on 1st, the batter, Jesús Valenzuela, hit a double. It helped Fairfield seize the win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Escobedo said after the game.
