Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Chicago Titans got the win.
The Omaha Raptors got a superb performance from pitcher Felipe Leyva, but the Chicago Titans still won the game, 3-2. Leyva was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Earning his 1st save for Chicago was Jeremy Shaw.
Takahashi Takahashi made it 3-2, Chicago, in the top of the eighth when he reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. It was a big at-bat in the Titans win.
"I felt good up there," said Takahashi. "I saw the ball well."
The 4th-place Titans lifted their record to 21-25.
