bin Su'ud Hurls Reno to Shutout Win
Almas bin Su'ud held the Fort Worth Cats to 8 hits and fashioned a fine 8-0 shutout at House of Pain today.

Speaking after the game, Reno Raiders manager Chris Brading said "bin Su'ud had everything going for him today."

He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful."

bin Su'ud rung up 5 strikeouts and surrendered 3 walks in the game.

"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Fort Worth manager Lowell Wise told reporters.

To date this season bin Su'ud is 2-2 with 10 starts and an ERA of 4.47 with 33 strikeouts in 54.1 innings.
