Aces Win in Glorious Fashion
|
The Columbus Aces defeated the Rubber City Rhinos, 7-6, at Central Park Downtown Stadium. Columbus right fielder Joe Taylor was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Aces keep rolling, raising their record to 13-7.
Doug White, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in RBI with 15, chipped in for Columbus with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 3 runs scored, and 1 RBI.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," White told the Columbus Chronicle.
