Brennan Goes Wild, But Racers Win
Scranton designated hitter Theodore Brennan had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Brennan was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 4, even as Bowling Green beat the Escape, 16-14. Brennan was named the player of the game despite the loss. Sae-wan Yi was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. The Racers bumped their record to 27-18 with this latest triumph.

Hideaki Fujita aided the Bowling Green cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the shortstop was 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Fujita told the Bowling Green Chronicle.
