Cacti Win at Vancouver, 4-1
|
Albuquerque starter Yoshiaga Adachi pitched effectively against the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-1 win. The winning pitcher was Adachi, now 3-2. He tossed 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. Albuquerque leads the Nick Adenhart League Bobby Cox Division by 3˝ games.
Allen Foley, who was drafted in the two round of the 2028 draft, aided the Albuquerque cause with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Adachi said.
