Banditos Lose, 5-3, at Top of the Hill

The Bowling Green Racers topped the Acapulco Banditos, 5-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Top of the Hill. The player of the game was Bowling Green pitcher and San Marino, California native Harlan Rudy. In 5.1 innings, Rudy surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Sae-wan Yi nailed down his 1st save.
Tynan Miller, who is tied for 6th in the NAL in hits with 49, aided the Bowling Green cause with a 2-run triple in the bottom of the third. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Rudy told the Bowling Green Chronicle.
The Racers bumped their record to 25-17 with this latest triumph.
