Victory Pushes Raiders Record to 22-18
|
Reno starter Théophile Richard pitched effectively against the Minneapolis Freeze at The Ice Box. The right-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. In 8.1 innings, Richard surrendered 10 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Li-zhu Kuang nailed down his 9th save.
Andrew Green, who is tied for 6th in the DKL in bases on balls with 28, aided the Reno cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3 with a walk, while scoring 2 runs.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Green told the Reno Today.
Reno has now won 4 straight.
