Nakashima Guns Down Detroit
Mitsuharu Nakashima of the Minneapolis Freeze shut out the Detroit Death Stars 12-0 at The Death Star today, holding them to 5 hits with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts.

Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Detroit skipper David Parker called the outing from Nakashima "a jewel."

"The way Nakashima was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said.
