Extra-Inning Win by Coal Miners over Kodiaks
|
The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Calgary Kodiaks, 3-2, in Darryl Kile League action at Foothills Stadium. The player of the game was Antioch pitcher and Dalhart, Texas native Lloyd Huggins. Antioch occupies third place in the Darryl Kile League Cito Gaston League at 17-19.
Scott McFarland made it 3-2, Antioch, in the top of the tenth when he hit a sacrifice fly. It was a big at-bat in the Coal Miners win.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McFarland told the Antioch Citizen.
