Canadians Fall Short at Fort Worth
The Cats had to overcome a good performance from Vancouver pitcher Domingo Trinidad to claim a 3-2 win at LaGrave Field. Trinidad went 7 innings and allowed no earned runs. The win was credited to Bobby Saxon in relief. His record improves to 1-3. Alexis Coates took the loss. Fort Worth is now 14-21, Vancouver 18-17.

José Rodríguez was the walk-off hero for Fort Worth. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cats pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was jumping at the end," Rodríguez said.
