Victory Pushes Death Stars Record to 18-16
|
Detroit Death Stars starter Bill Piner was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Joplin Fireballs, 5-2. The Death Stars bumped their record to 18-16 with this latest triumph.
The Death Stars picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Feels good to get the job done," Piner said after the game.
