Racers Get Close Win Over Baristas
|
Bowling Green rode a good effort from starter Luis Rodríguez to beat the Silver Lake Baristas at Top of the Hill. The final score was 3-2. Bowling Green reliever Ah-cy Jian was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Silvino Fagundo took the loss for Silver Lake. The losing skid has reached 9 games for Silver Lake.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Bowling Green catcher Griffin Roberge, facing Silvino Fagundo, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Racers the 3-2 win.
