Canadians Lose, 6-2, at Mckinley Park
|
The Canton Paczkis beat the Vancouver Canadians, 6-2, at Mckinley Park. The Paczkis got a fine performance from right fielder William Banks, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Picking up the save was P.J. Ross, his 6th. The Paczkis bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.
Banks had a key at-bat for Canton early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and gave Canton an early 3-0 lead.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Banks.
