The Fort Worth Cats defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 5-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field, with Fort Worth pitcher Kojuro Kojima named player of the game. The Aeropostales drop to 16-17 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2033 season.

The Cats got a big at-bat from third baseman Ron Woods. For the game, Woods went 1-5. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 18th hit of the season gave Fort Worth a 2-1 lead.

In postgame comments to the Fort Worth Today, Kojima said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
