Hassani Delivers Walk-Off Win for Titans
|
The Chicago Titans did just enough to sneak past the Bowling Green Racers, 3-2, at The War Dome. Chicago pitcher Ayan Osewe earned player of the game honors. Chicago reliever Sherwin Aberin picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Brian Reddin absorbed the loss. With the win, Chicago pushes its record to 14-17.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Chicago catcher Aamir Hassani, facing Brian Reddin, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Titans the 3-2 win.
"Exhilarating win," said Hassani.
