Coal Miners Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Peoria
The Antioch Coal Miners topped the Peoria Caterpillars, 7-4, with youngster Scott McFarland playing a key role. McFarland was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Coal Miners in the win. Nicolas Joubert finished to wrap up his 6th save. The Caterpillars fall to 13-17 and continue their uneasy start to the 2033 season.

Early in the game, McFarland had a bases-clearing double for Antioch. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Coal Miners on top, 7-4.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McFarland.
