Alroy Goes Wild, But Raiders Win
Pasadena left fielder Bartley Alroy pounded Reno Raiders pitchers at House of Pain, but it was not enough to keep the Bumblebees from falling, 13-9. Alroy was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 6. The Bumblebees fall to 12-18 and continue to sputter in the early going.

The Raiders got a big at-bat from catcher Dong Kan. For the game, Kan was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Reno a 10-7 lead.

"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Reno skipper Chris Brading.
